These are some of the photos taken last year when we have a quick outing to Ulu Yam Waterfall during the Hari Raya holiday...thansk god that day was not many people around...so we manage to have some fun there...

Will definitely go back there again for the chilling cold water.

Hi guys,

Happy New Year to you all ya!!

Sorry for such a long update in my Blog...i was really busy lately...from work to family.

Just hope i have more time to spend on this BLOG, but hey, i still update, at least from now on :)

Food Photography

Seems like we need to try out everything....to complete the photography services right?

So last few month, we have tried out Food Photography for a Cafed located at Low Yat PLaza.

They were changing their menu so they opt for a new photos for they food. Here are some of the sample photos taken at the cafe...

These shoot took us more than 3 weeks to complete, it's all due the timing and preparation. It's really hard work for everyone (including the chef).

But still there is some good things to share about this food photography, what we got it's UNLIMITED drinks while we have the Drinks Shoot and those FOOD...looks yummy right? DOnt even think about eating it...why? Don't ask pls....just ENJOY the photos below..

Just a quick one here...recently...i mean not that recent la...i been to this restaurant in Bangsar South...kindda new area...friend of mine have open a western cum fine dining restaurant. The name of this restaurant is S'Mores (it's a American slang for Some More) :)

Served very fine food at a very very reasonable price...

If u guys are free or feels like eating some really good food...pls do pay a visit to his restaurant.

Located no far away from Kerinchi LRT station...need further details? Pls feel free to msg me then...

ON THE ROAD Magazine Photoshoot

This was the first time i do photoshoot in a studio for 10 girls at once.

Normally, u know...1 or 2 the most model/girls will have a shooting in a studio, but no this time. Total all in...10! And yes, all done in 3 hours time...

Lucky me to have 10 beautiful GT Queens from the previous Japan GT event to have a photoshoot session for the past issue of On The Road Magazine.

Rae First Art Class @ Get Crafty

Yes.

Time flies very fast huh? Now she is enrolled to a Art Class in 1 Utama. I guess, she will be going into play-school next year already...sigh...

Have to admit, i am old already lor...daughter also 3 years old liow...hehehe

Anyway, just wanna share this magical moment, her first day of art class...

Doesn't need to say much...just see how much she enjoy the class.

Kuala Selangor Outing

It's been many moon year ago my last visit to Kuala Selangor for cheap seafood and firefly outing.

So last month, got that 'feel' wanna whack some nice seafood and suggest to my wife, why not we go to Kuala Selangor and have nice dinner there.

And my little princess didn't even went out to anywhere sea-side or should i said river-side dinner before with us... :)

The journey took us about 1 hour 15 minute from my house to the restaurant, thanks to my GPS, or else, i guess, it will took me 2 hour to arrived. :)

Once we reach, that is the perfect timing. Sunset time...and good for some photography...so below are some of the photos taken during our family Kuala Selangor Outing.

Book Launching @ Kinokuniya KLCC

This is 1 of the book that have been release in Taiwan for some time already...just that the book didnt available in Malaysia market. Why? Coz in Malaysia....not much of people who like to read, especially in Chinese. :)

BTW, this is a book that written by a taiwanese author about this guy (Norman Pang) which is also my boss :) Autobiography.

This is a story, how he make himself so successful in Insurance line.

If u guys wanna know more about him and if you know how to read chinese, go and get 1 for yourself...it's really really worth a read. :)

Just a note, it's only available in Kinokuniya, KLCC.

Photoshooting @ Hatyai, Thailand

This is the 2nd assignment to oversea. I mean...cover for an event.

Held at Lee Garden Hotel, Hatyai, Songkla, Thailand.

Wow...i can said..this is pretty massive event to cover. Reach there at 8am and start shooting for everyone. Coz they are coming in at the same time as me...so i have to be earlier than everyone...i opt for drive-up-by-myslef-from-KL-till-Hatyai.

Took me 8 hours from KL to Hatyai. Yeah..pretty tiring...but, this is work right?

So let me show u guys some photos of mine, taken in that event.

Family Trip to Penang

Finally!...

We are back to Penang once again.

It's been 10 years...or maybe more. WE (whole family la)...has never step into Penang for a holiday. When i suggest to my dad that why not we make a trip to Penang this June..my dad quickly said, YES. Let's do it. It's been really really long time already my parent didnt go back to Penang...so it's kindda good memories to hit back my dad grown up place. (Yes, my dad is grown up in Penang)

So, this time around...we travel up with 2 car. My little Suzie and my brother Stream.

We make a early trip this time around coz we dont wanna cought jam up in Penang Causeway during evening rush. So we strat off from KL 7am (actually by the time settle everything, we leave toll at 8am) :P

So we make a short visit-cum-makan stop at Ipoh. (My sister-in-law was married to there, so we stop for a while to pay a visit to her).

From Ipoh, we head to Penang and we took the ferry this time. Coz my little princess havent seen or ride a ferry before, so, what the heck....we just hop-in to the Ferry. It's really nice experince for all of us...coz of the memories and stuff.

And this trip, i have a reservation to stay at Gurney Hotel, thanks to Joyce (NPG) to make a last minute reservation for me. Owe u a big time sis! :)

We stay the suite, which has the most superb view....u will know later when i show the pic. :)

Everyone was tired, except my princess...she ask for a dip, which mean she wanna go to the pool...so we head to the pool and we spend our evening there before we head for our dinner.

So i have to cut it short....and let my photos do the talking.

Fiat 500 Photo-shoot!

Yup. U heard it right...

This is a the spanking new Fiat 500 fully Imported from Italy for a magazine review.

I am honour to have a photoshooting session for this magazine.

And the best part is....this is the only review in Malaysia. None other magazine nor media have test drove the car and review it yet.

So i am very excited about it when i first get to know that i can test-drive the car and photoshoot for this cute little car.

So a little facts about this car:

1) It's re-make version of Fiat 500 (the first version was made during 1950's)
2) The C.C for this car is 1.4
3) Runnig on Selespeed Gearbox...mean, it'a Manual gearboxbut running in cluthless
4) Price: RM 130k (u guys if interested, please call Torino Motor)
5) WOW factor of this car....Cute, Rare and it's Italian Made and Design~ (bias :P)

So i cant wirte much about the car....coz...i am not very good in giving review. :)

Classic & Vintage Cars Autokhana...

....was held in Kinrara Army Camp early last month. This was the most classic and vintage cars i ever since in my life...and all those cars are soooooo well taken care and even the new cars also car also cannot fight! :P

i was so happy that i get invited to experince this Autokhana Festival this year coz, this will be the last year that they going to organize in Kinrara Army Camp. Next year going to be a new venue due to goverment going to develop this place in Kinrara.

I just hope that these hardcore Classic and Vintage cars owner will continue to support such event in near future coz all these cars...really bring back some old memory... :)

Family Trip...

...to Bukit Tinggi. Yeah...this trip was last month...and now only i uploaded...sorry la peeps...was really really busy lately...thanks for those messages that i received from my follower...i will try to update as much as possible ya... :)

It's been quite sometime already didnt have a trip out from KL to have some fresh air and relax myself with my beloved family.

My wife have been suggest that we should visit to Bukit Tinggi, Colmar Resort since that we have long long time never been there. So, what the heck, it's not far away and best thing is...NEAR and COOLING.

It's a good place to be coz...there got a BIG rabbit farm. My little princess having a good time catching the rabbit...hehehe...

So after we had fun time in rabbit farm...the RAIN start to pour...and everyone was soaking wet...me is okie...just worried my little princess and wife . So we head to Colmar resort and have our lunch there.

After we had our LUNCH in of those restaurant there...we contiunue to have a walk and some photoshooting at the Colmar and Japanese Tea House and Garden.

Bangkok Model Shooting

...was happy to work with such a professional model from bangkok.

Her name is BuA. She was a full time model in Bangkok, Thailand. In year 2007, she was a winner of Miss Maxim for Thailand.

I manage to meet her during my visit in Bangkok last few month while i was there during a Bangkok Motorshow coverage. Was doing planning of bringing her over for a photoshoot session.

So this time around, a friend of mine bought her and her manager over for a photosession in Hotel and a Private Villa. :)

And the theme for this time....LINGERIE.

Food...Glorious Food

....lately have been working hard....and spend quite a little time with family. So i decided to just bring my family to have a nice dinner on public holiday (i dont usually travel down to KL with family coz of the traffic)

So it's na Labour Day, and was hunger for some western food.

Here are the place i have choose to go.

BAVARIAN BIERHOUSE @ Wisma UOA, Kuala Lumpur.

They served fine german food with excellent ambience.

Altho the price is on the high side, but....what the heck! Nice food come with a price right?

Okie....let me serve you the photos... :)

This time around...my dearst wife would like to buy us (me and the little one) a Fine Dining Thai Cuisine.

And she loves SRI AYYUTHAYA.

So we head there for our dinner the next day....and just for your information...the food there are good BUT not great compare to the real thailand food.

But, the ambience is perfect. The price are reasonable.

1. Pandan leaves wrap with chicken...not spicy but tasty~

2. Hotpot tauhu with seafood. Hmmm....this is not really thai food tho BUT my little princess can't take those HOT and SPICY food....so have to side order 1 for her. :)

Anyway, have been really busy with work and stuff...

So last few weeks...i was having a photoshooting session with Moon, yes, her name is MOON. She was a Miss FHM Girl-Next-Door 2009 Finalist.

She need to update her modelling-profile photos, so she ask me to give her a photoshooting session. She want it just ONE on ONE.

So i think what the heck...let's do it!

Since she is professional is posing...i hope my photos are not that bad. :)

30th Bangkok International Motorshow

Hi guys,

Sorry for the late updates on my blog about this Bangkok International Motroshow. have to wait till they publish my story and photos on their magazine first ler... btw, this month issue of On-The-Road got feature this set of photos in their magazine. So? What u guys waiting for....go and grab a copy now!!

So here are the story about Bangkok Motorshow, let me summarize it so its easier for u guys to read.

1) They Motorshow are way much bigger and better and more cars to see than Malaysia and Singapore. They have about 5 Halls plus 2 Outdoor theme (1 for the Car Audio and 1 for Dirfting adn Classic Demo cars)

2) Even the show are big...the ticket price are freaking CHEAP!!! Only THB 100 only, which is cost RM 10 which u can hang-out there for whole day~!

3) Cheap doesnt mean u got nothing to see...from concept cars to latest Merc E-Class coupe launching to HOT chickas!! :P

4) Every single booth u visit....it's full of girls....they even represent the company for explaining each of every cars.

5) Overall....Bangkok Motorshow is rocks!!!! U miss it this year? Better mark ur calender for next year!

6) Last but not least, never mind the traffic jam, the red shirt protestor or any sh*t going to happen in Bangkok....it's still a SAFE place to be!!! :D

Hi guys...this time...i need to blog something different.

It's a book launching, by Dr. Chua (MMTS Consultant for Malaysia and Taiwan).

This is the first time ever in Kinokuniya, KLCC after so many years of opening, this book launcing has more than 100 person attended. the crowd was madness....the whole cafe floor was jam-packed with attendees.

Why so many people attend?

Coz he is famously known as God-Of-Insurance Consultant. Didn'e get what i mean?

get his book (if u read chinese) then will get what i mean.

Family Outing in Seremban

Hi guys, second post on my blog...2 day in a row...yeah, i know i know....i am trying very hard to keep this blog up-to-date as much as i can. :P

So this time...my back-dated outing to Seremban with my beloved family...yeah...me and my wife was working very hard lately....so i think we need a break tho.

So i bring them to Seremban (why Seremban?) coz it's my in-law grand-parent house is there. And not forgetting, my mom side family are all from seremban. So, u get the picture....it's a holiday cum relative visiting time... hehehe... :)

This time, we check-in into Seremban Bintang Royale (ex-Seremban Hilton hotel). the 1 and only 5 star hotel in Seremban. Since it's a break-away hotel from town....why not get a better room right? :)

Once we check-in, my princess start to change to her swimsuit and get ready to rock and roll in the pool....before hit the pool...here are some of her shot... :)

Alright guys....i really have to apologize for such a long long time didnt update my blog....

Lately was kindda busy with work. As u guys know....more work mean more $$$$ la... :P

So let me backdate some of the event that i have attended with my family.

So, this is the one, Hot Air Balloon. First time in Malaysia. And very first time experince for me too....actually i wanted to go to Thailand to shoot such a event in Kanchaburi, Thailand, but it's kindda far for me and i am really running out of time to travel there...it's about 4 hours ride out from Bangkok. :)

So here in Malaysia got chance....sure must go la...right? Then i decided to go with my lovely wife and daughter...

All right guys....i guess its about time for me to upload and update my Tokyo trip again.

The 3rd day was basically more on a chilling day...coz just back from ONSEN...it's pretty tired tho... :P

this is the 4th day of my trip in tokyo....and this is a full day city walkabout tour...unlimited WALK, WALK, WALK and WALK.....sigh...

Yokoso Japan (Day 2)

...finally i have time to upload my 2nd day trip photos in Japan....my second day will be in Isawa-Onsen....its roughly about 2 hours train ride from Tokyo Downtown.

We are staying there for a night....and have a unlimited Onsen (Hot Spring) and Superb View!

Here are some of my shot....enjoy~ :)

This place is famous with Onsen....so they even provide free-onsen by the road side... :)

They even have SATY aka Jusco is this place...very convienent to shopping..

Once we arrived at Hotel Fuji, we are served by their staff...which is super friendly

And we have to change our clothes to their traditional clothing for more Japanese 'feel' :)

So after our dinner...we proceed to Onsen...and i had about 2 onsen session in a night... :D

SO the next day....before we leave check out....i had this wonderful shot of Mount Fuji at our hotel room...actually...we our room are facing the Mount Fuji....sweet!!~

Finally.....i have sort out the photos for my japan trip...i mean i just manage to sort out the DAY 1 photos...so u can know....how many i shot in Tokyo, Japan.

Touch down in Narita Airport...not much of question for the Custom nor Immigression... :)

Striaght i go to get myself a Tachikawa Bus ticket...which cost me 3,500 Yen...which is RM 140...and thats the beginning of Yen Horror.... :(

Get myself a Milk Tea....and its really GOOD!!! Remember the brand...IToEN (RM 6 for this!!!)

A bit hungry...i check out the MEIJI shop....its kindda famous brand...so u will get some famous price la.... :(

Another 20 minutes to wait for my next bus to Tachikawa....and its cold...8.4 celsius only...

Okie...bus has reach...now boarding...for TACHIKAWA!!!...Hehehe....

Here i am...Tachikawa....nice simple place...with narrow roads... :)

The first thing u notice in Tokyo are...the street are blarddy clean...not even a single ciggie butt.

Well-known temple in Tokyo....claim to be the Oldest Temple in Tokyo...

After a long walk thru the Asakusa Street Market...finally...we saw the HUGE Temple with HUGE Lantern...

After Asakusa...we head down to Men Kingdom in Tokyo.....AKIHABARA.. :) This is the building looks like before the Night comes in....

And it glow into a magical Street...full of neon light and stuff....really a Heaven for men...coz full of gadget...and lotsa kawai-ii girls.. :P

After a tiring walk in Asakusa and Akihabara....heading back to JR Station and have a good rest at the train....here are the train station....a lotsa crowd even at late hours...

It's been a busy weeks...

Have been running around a lot since i started selling some bag thru ONLINE...yeah...which is so-called E-Selling...to my surprise...the respond was overwhealming. I get emails and call thru out the whole Malaysia....some as far as Sabah and Sarawak.

Anyway, this is not the main things that i do tho....just my friend got some DSLR caera thingy for me to let go before CNY. SO just helping him a bit la...while making some pocket money for CNY and my up-coming Japan trip. :)

So my job is....PRICE BUSTER....hehehhee....i was selling way below market price.

Comic & Anime Festival...

....at Sunway Pyramid Convention hall....i was having my jalan-jalan time last weekend with my family, and i saw a lot of young girls and boys having their costume on. Then i was wondering, what the heck was going on in Sunway? Am i already in Japan? :P

Just a little information about the Anime Theme and Comic thingy. Its was actually a Cosplay culture that brought in by Japanese youngsters.

These youth will wear the costume to imitate they favourite anime charater. In Japan, they will wear these costume and meet-up with their bunch of gang on the street every weekend. But, i dont think in Malaysia they will dare to do it. Coz it will attract too many attention.

You dont know why it will attract attention?

So below are just some of my shot i took outside the Convention Hall.

....Alicafe that located in TTDI? Me and my family went there for a quick lunch (thanks to my wife coz she is buying me the beautiful lunch) there.

Here are some of the food that we order:

Tongkat Ali Coffee...its a must try....very nice. :)

My wife order a Signature Nasi Lemak. I give (9/10) rating

I order myslef a fried beehon. I give: (7/10) rating

Finally our dessert. Chocolate Banana Pancake. My rating: (4/10). Sorry, its just not my type. the whole things really doesnt taste that good except the ice-cream.

But hey, this thing still got someone like it. As below pic shown:

Forgotten whats the name of this food. Made from Egg-white and some Honey syrup on top. very good appertizer.

The hong Kong famous Lou-Poh-Peng (Wife biscuit) Suprisingly, its taste good too... :)

The food was good...the enviromnet was nice...and the price is good too....highly recommended to try out.

So, when i get to know that this event going to held in KLANG, my mind start to tell me that this event is not going to be what i expected jorrr....KLANG wor...hehehe.....furthermore, it held in a PUB/DISCO cum Fengtau Place!! I feel so bad about it. So sorry for waiting all of guys. Some of them even sms me and ask, WHY?? WHY NO UPDATE??

Hehehe....sorry peeps. Have been busying around. :P

Let me see...where should i start now...sigh.

Okie.

First of all....i change to a bigger and better camera and clearer lenses. Yup, its a freaking expensive hobby. Coz the lense will kill you!! :P

Yup...with a additional 50mm f1.8 lense for model potrait shot.

My latest addtion to the camera family....Tamron Zoom Lense 70-300mm (mostly for event coverage)

Other than just working, i have spending some quality time with family in Genting. It's my b'day tho. Actually was planning to cancel the trip due to my little princess just discharge from hospital. Anyhow, seeing her so sick in the hospital for 4 days, aiyah...just bring her go and happy happy a bit la... :)

Busy Weekend...

Hi guys,

Yeah i know...i have been sometime did'nt update my blog...it was just too busy ler....event and things just came up last minute.

BTW, just recap what have been going on lately..

1) MAPA Fair

2) MME Race in

3) Friend Wedding (Day and Night)

So let me start off with MAPA Fair, it was totally sucks....crowds was bad...the exhibitors was less...organizers was worse....so i can conclude is...FAILURE...Then why i am there? Have some client need girls to be there lor...*brochure distributing*

Then come to MME Race, wow....this year was madness...more Porches then any other year...congratulation to the Singapore team who was Won the Class O race. A lots of my friend was there... me going for a while only to give some support to them and as usual....supplying girls to the Race event too....

Here are the Result for the whole event....

Team Petronas...Driven by my friend...Farique...was the noisiest car during the MME Race...anyway, he finish 6th overall...was not bad tho... :)

This Chief Engineer caught scolding his Pit Crew for 'something'...as usual la...if my team was driving a Aston Martin...i also will piss off if something goes wrong.

One of the team driver was fainted during the race...due to dehaydration.

Sunday Morning

Did'nt manage to snap a lot of photos..coz was just tired. Woke up early and become 'Brother' was not an easy task. :)

MY Songkla Trip...FOOD!!

Yes, this is all about food....what we have eaten DURING this trip...

Yeah...the taxi guy checking out my friend new ride before he bring us to dinner.... nice eh??

So this time around...i am going to give food review on this Restaurant on Hatyai, which is located in Hatyai City Municipal Centre. Up the hill with a amazing view of the whole Hatyai City.

The name of the restaurant are:

BON KHAO RESTAURANT

1/9, KARNJANAVANICH ROAD

HATYAI, SONGKLA, 90110

This is the view u will get when u dine here....marvellous! :)

This is most spicies tomyum i have tasted in Hatyai, and this thing is full of seafood.... Damn!!

Sweet and Sour Squids.... and i still wondering....why izzit sooooo spicy! Sigh..

this is my favaorite....Deep Fried Pork Leg!! Yummy~ the skin actually are crispy and the meat are soft and tender....best served with the Soy Souce

Asparagus fried with Squids... a little bit of wine taste...something different from Malaysia type..

Deep fried Prawn with Garlic and 5 spices from the chef...one of the highly recommended food in this restaurant.

This one is the same as the Prawn...but we ask for the chicken....end-result....taste the same...GOOD!!!

Sambal Petal Prawn....hot hot hot!!! But still very tasty... :)

All together.... 7 dishes.... FINISH!!

BTW, for all of the above food....it only cost us RM 150 with drinks and tips for the lovely waitress.... worth it or not....u guess!!

The next day...its our BREAKFAST...before heading back to KL!

This is our breakfast....it does look like those normal Wantan mee u can find in malaysia. B ut wait till u taste the mee with their special souce...esp. the meat....very nice and cheap breakfast in Hatyai. Cost us RM 3 per bowl. And it come with a bowl of Meat soup too... :)

MY Songkla Trip...

...was tiring....as usual...

I think some of you guys must be wondering, why am i always travel up to Songkla Province (which is the southern province of Thailand) ?

Well, let me tell you guys, its a most easiest way to travel to, just have to drive up north for 6 hours non-stop and you are into Songkla. Secondly, the food there are good...and cheap! Third, most of the famous temple was located in southern thailand. YES, u heard it correctly, TEMPLE!

Let me start with the photos:

Yeah...i was on the border of Thai-Malaysia around 6.30am....look at the street...empty! Why? Not school holiday or weekend lor...BEST! :)

Once we reach Danok, we have a nice cooling Sugar Cane drink...cost? RM 2.5 for 3 cuppa! :)

On the way to the temple...have some school children doing the traditional dance...interesting :)

And this is the temple that i have visited...Wat Natawee. Still under construction. i can foresee, this temple going to be very beautiful in next 2 years.... :)

And errr...this car really cought my eyes...Hummer H3!! It belong to the Arjan. Only 10 unit of H3 in whole Thailand, and this one is being given by the Govt of Thai. Amazing eh?

The Arjan is having is Brunch....a lotsa stuff to eat.

This is the waiting are for those people come late....btw, i have waited 3 hours for my turn to meet Arjan. Well, i think its worth every second of wait. :)

Finally, its my turn to see him personally.... the major problem with meeting him is...we have some communication problem....he only speak little bit of Hokkien and Malay. English also little bit....but lucky me...he got a telephone translator. :)

After we left the Wat Natawee, we are heading to Wat Pako, which is on the way back to Hatyai too....this is one of the famous temple for Arjan thung follower. Famous in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Taiwan and some said to Hong Kong too.... WHY??? See the below picture.

B'coz Arjan corpse are still lying in a Glass Coffin.... he have been past away for about 5 years (if i not mistaken) but the Arjan body are still well kept. Hundred of thousand people are coming here to pay a visit to Arjan corpse during the festive season.

Over the weekend...

Last weekend was mostly i rest weekend....didn't go out to anywhere....just lepak at home and spend some time with my wife and my lovely princess. You guys dont believe ah?

i also took some of the photos of her before we go out for our family dinner. Gosh...from this photo, she really grown up a lot eh...

So on Sunday...we went to our Beauty and The Beast show in KLCC Convention Hall. This ticket is my queen give me as a suprise Father Day gift. Nice show tho....at least now i know the Beauty and The Beast story. All this while....i have no idea why the Beast can become a Beast....and why such a Beauty will go along with a big-headed Beast. Nice show from the UK Crew tho...live music and stuff...good costume...nice backdrop...overall, 9/10 show.

My last day in HK...

....hmmm....so fast it's already the last day in HK...time really fly when u are having a good time. So in the morning i woke, pack up all the stuff...go to nearby Char Chan Teng to have my final breakkie (which i miss the most) which was the Char Leong and Porridge plus a pack of Fresh Milk. :)

So after our breakkie....we walk back to Nathan Road to get our A21 bus to Airport. Which cost HKD 33 per person.

Once we reach to the Airport (It's Terminal 2 ya for AirAsia flight...dont get down the bus when it reach, they going to stop at Terminal 1 first, wait for the second station)

After all the check in....we walk the train to another terminal to get on board to the plane...

This is the shoot while i was sitting in the train...moving very slow only....compare to MTR...hehehe....but i purposely make the photos look like moving very fast.... :-)

So after hop in the plane...off we go!!...Finnaly mange to snap some sky-view of Hong Kong.

Very nice and clear blue skies when i am coming back that time....but i heard now its a raining wor...lucky me... :)

So thats all la my trip to Hong Kong. I hope i can give enough of information on my blog during this trip to HK.

If anyone of the reader here would like to ask more question about HK, i try to answer as much as possible, coz i am not a Hongkie, so i can give 100% answer lor... ok?

But before i end my this trip-blog, i would like to thanks my friend Ken and his girlfriend Gigi for bring us around in Hong Kong. Last but not least, our sister-in-charge of Hong Kong thread NORTHASIAN of LowYat.net, she do give a lot of information to us in that forum. Thanks NORTHASIAN. :)

My 3rd Day in HK....

Wow....so fast its already 3rd day in Hong Kong. And since today was nothing much to do and still early (i am used to it of waking up at 7am every morning), so we choose the so-called half day tour given by the GoHoliday package. Actually the GoHoliday package was given free by the
AirAsia...so we just go la....since the first we reach no one come and pick us up in the Airport...but luckily the Tour Guide leave a message in our hotel to let us call him and arrange the half day tour.

But let me tell you 1 thing, if you really wanna go for that half day tour, FORGET ABOUT IT!!

Why? Coz they bring you to the nonsense place one la...which you can go by yourself. For example:

Photo taken in Avenue Of Star, with this Bruce Lee guy. C'mon, you can go to Avenue of Start by yourself right? Its easy...MTR can be connectted to Tsim Sha Tsui station...walk out follow the EXIT 'J', and voila...you can see that Avenue of Stars. I prefer you guys go in the evening. Why? coz there got a show of SYMPHONY of LIGHT from Kowloon side. Everyday, 8pm.

Another shot taken in Avenue of Stars.. over look to Kowloon Building...its nice...but the weather is too HOT!!!...

So after the Avenue of Stars visit...the tour guide bring us to this JC Jewelries. Said that its own by Jackie Chan and another rich guys. Told by the tour guide that the jewelries that sell there are much cheaper...so me and my wife go there and look see look see lor...end of the day...the sales person there are very pushy...must ask you to buy something from them...

So i said..sorry..I AM NOT INTERESTED!!!...The only they let us go back to the bus! another Con-men shop! They only bring tourist to there...so beware guys, dont buy anything from there...coz the price are more expensive compare to Nathan Road Jewelries shop.

So after 2 place we went with that so-called half day tour, we ask for a stop somewhere near MTR station, coz we are really got no interest to follow those buying trip then sight seeing trip.

And before we get down from the tour bus, the guy ask for tips, which is HKD 50 per person. WTF? Kindda crap right? But anyhow we do pay also la...he said CARI MAKAN only wor...TNS!

So the tour guide drop us somehwere near the Jordan Road and we have our 'brunch' there. Pretty cheap food in those Char Chan Teng in Jordan Road. So after some eating, we go to the nearst MTR station and buy a ticket which looks like this :

While we walking toward the MTR station in Jordan Road...there got a lot of shop selling chinese herbs and stuff. And most of the shop there are not small...its HUGE and sell a lot of 'Hoi-Mei' dried seafood item.

While we walking in to the MTR Tunnel, i saw this building, looks pretty weird...slim and tall building. So i take the phots down and show you guys... :)

So from Jordan MTR Station, we took the train to Sham Shui Po. why we go there? Hehehe...its a heaven for guys!

It's a place called APLIU street.

What do Apliu Street got to do with guy? Coz selling all BIG BOY TOYS!!

From camera to binoculars. Everything under 1 street. Electronics to gadget stuff. You name it...they have it. The price? FREAKING cheap!!!!!! But, please bargain, these peole love you guys to bargain with them. :)

It do looks similiar to Jalan Pasar in KL or Petaling Street, but the stuff they sell there are much more than in Jalan Pasar. I can said 10/10 for Apliu Street. And not forrgetten, i bought a lot of stuff there too...

So you guys out there who wanna but good cheap electronic stuff...please visit Apliu Street. Highly recommended.

After few hours hang out there...its time for another round of shopping in Causeway Bay. Sorry this round of shopping, no photo taken...coz too busy shopping and too crowded to snap photos.

I can said, Causeway Bay are much crowded than Mongkok (during the day time). So after a round of shopping in Sogo (Causeway Bay) we head to THE PEAK!

Too bad we didn't manage to go to Times Square in Causeway Bay coz ots already evening. We need to go to the peak before its get dark, or else nothing much to see.

So before we reach to the Tram Station, we had some photoshooting in the park where the Olympic Horse shown there. Why the horse? Coz there will be a Equestrian event held in HK during the Olympic lor...

So once we reach to the Tram station, wow....the que is so long. So we didnt take the Tram up to The Peak, we opt for the Taxi ride. Which is quite cheap...only HKD 48 dollar from the Tram Station to The Peak. So we minus the waiting time lor...

Once we reach to The Peak...there got a shopping mall...selling all kind of things. Mostly souveniar:

SP we get some of the fridge magnet as a gifts for our friends back in KL. :)

And there even got a Olympic Souveniar shop...sell a lot of beijing Olympic stuff...esp this one... The Mascot... :)

and the gold bar...cannot afford to buy ler..too expensive...hehehe...

So after some round of shopping, we go to the Madam Tussad Wax Muzium. Taken photos with my idol again! Bruce Lee. Actually it looks quite real tho... :)

After a long day of walking and shopping, finnaly we reach to the in-famous The Peak to have nice view of Hong Kong at night. It really breath taking. This is the best shot i can give.

After 10 minute of unlimited viewing of Hong Kong night view, we make a move back to Mongkok. Yet, this time the Tram are still long que down the hill. So opt for another round of taxi ride down hill. yeah, i know it was not a good idea for those first timer like me not to take the tram...but the que was really unbearable. And we are hungry too....so quick quick go back Mongkok and have our dinner lor... :-)

So all this while we watch the TVB show said that 'Ta-Lang', we also wanna try la...see how good and cheap was it. But to my suprise again...its not that expensive also....but the environment that we seat while eating are priceless!!! Check the picture out....hehehe....

Its at the roadside of Sai Yeung Choy Street, where everyone was walking pass our table...really good for 'people watching'.

And my friend have to stand by the roadside to have a puff...this is what typical Hongkies do, YOU WANNA SMOKE? FIND A PLACE NEAR TO THE DUSTBIN!!! or else...u will get fine HKD 5000. Please take note guys, if you are smoker.

After our dinner, we have our final shopping in mongkok. Finally we head to Esprit for some cheap bargain!! And while my wife do the shopping, i do mostly the shooting....esp. the street of Mongkok....

As usual....Mongkok street are busy

You will 1 thing in Mongkok....huge TV are every corner....doing TV show to News...unbelieveable clear picture from that huge TV...

Before we head back to our hotel, i so wanted to try out the famously known by Hongkies, CURRY FISHBALL. It cost me HKD 4 for 1 stick (6 fishball in a stick). Taste wise...ok ok la...compare to the KL one are more spicy. In HK, their food are not very spicy and they dont serve Cili Padi or Sambal.

After that...i buy some Red Bean Paste cake...freshly bake by the roadside....3 piece for HKD 10. Taste not bad...

This is how the typical roadside shop selling all kind of food in Mongkok. From Stinky Tofu to Curry Fishball. And most of this shop operate nearby to a junction and 7-11. :) You know why? Coz when u are thirsty, u can grad a drink in the nearby 7-11.... :)

After so many food going down to out stomach....its about time to grab few bottle of Yakult back to hotel to drink lor....but if u look at it a glance....it looks like a Vitagen in M'sia....but in HK, the Yakult taste more milky...

So after the long day...we finally go back to hotel and rest. Our leg are almost numb due to too many walking. But let me tell u guys one thing, if u wanna go Hong Kong for sight seeing...be prepare to WALK a lot!!! Hehehe....

2nd day in HK...

...was a Disneyland Day!!

Hehehe....my wife sooo wanted to go for this Disneyland in HK, so we just go la...and let me see how special it was...
Before we start our journey that day, we go for this dim sum restaurant, just next to the hotel, which is just open recently, (it called New Star Restaurant), they served nice and cheap Dim Sum. trust me, its even more cheaper than eating in KL. But the crowd was madness!! So early (i mean 7.30 am) its already fully pack with old people (we are the youngest, i guess) coz most of the customer there are around 60's years old....

This is how the restaurant looks like in the morning....have to wait in line for your turn and have to share table with strangers too....so guys, be prepare for it if you are eating in such restaurant. :)

The thing that we order that morning are:

Yeah...i know i know....its kindda too many things ordered that morning...coz we are excited...not the food is good...coz the price are cheap!! 2 person with chinese tea only cost us HKD 100. For all of the above...what do u expect right??

So after the breakkie we walk back to Stanford Hotel, we go to TsimShaTsui for a short walk first (we are suing the hotel buss shuttle), coz its still early ma...no need to go so early one la...most of the Hongkies told me that...coz the theme park is small wor...so we go to National Olympic Muzeum first and from there, we took some nice photos near the Pier.

After some nice photoshooting, we head down to the nearst MTR station in that place, i really forgetten the name of that place, but its actually go thru a shopping mall (Sogo) then u can find the MTR station. So we take few interchange from TsimShaTsui to HK Disneyland...the last train to Disneyland was wholly own by Disneyland i guess....coz everthing inside the train was Disneyland theme....hehehe..

The handle are Mickey logo... :)

So once we reach...have to buy the ticket...which cost me HKD 295 person, only for the weekdays coz weekend are cost higher...HKD 350 if i not mistaken. This is how the ticket looks like:

I think they see me and my wife, 1 guy and 1 girl...they give ticket also 1 mickey and 1 minnie... :)

After bought the ticket, you will pass thru a security check....they will search your bag...make sure no food is in your bag...they will not allowed you to bring in any food...so please take note about that. Food NO-NO, water or drinks..YES!

The security are doing the checking...thats make the que long...sigh..

As u guys can see...its a clear blue skies...so...the weather are really HOT!!! The view from the Fairtyland Castle.. :)

The rest of the mascot...didint got time to look for them also...always have to line-up...and the weather was so hot...tiring summore...hehehe....tiring from shopping i guess...

So the latest attraction in Disneyland now are the High School Musical...

If any of you guys are thinking of getting a ride in the Disneyland theme park...they will give a Boarding Pass while lining-up...so that...no one will cut que...

So towards the 8pm...its the Firework dispaly time...i can say its very nice display...coz its combine the music from all the Disney show...and the speaker are just blasting every corner in Disneyland...playing non stop of the Disney theme song....but just too bad i miss the Parade...coz was busy buying Disneyland Merchandise...

After the long day playing and walking in the Disneyland...finally we have our lunch + tea break in of the restaurant there...price wise was okie...not that bad...HKD 120 for 2 person. This is what we had:

So after all the happy ending firework...we took the MTR train back to Mongkok for another round of shopping...which is the famous 'Sports Shoe Street'

This street really have about 40 to 50 shop...selling all range of sports shoes and sports things. From Jersey to Sockings...and they open till quite late too...about 11.30pm. Why? you will know why when i post the next picture...

Can u see that...in Mongkok....almost pass midnight...and the people on the street are still damn a lot...just like our pasar malam here....but the crowd are start at very early and end very very late. Their culture is to hang out in this places...Hongkies and tourist...this place is over-crowded!! But...if you like me...love photoshoting...this place is heaven!!...Coz a lot of pretty girls. :)

You guys can check out the Ladies Market too...near the Mongkok MTR station...its just like our M'sia Petaling Street...but...more spacious...not so crampie...and those people who sell things there are more friendly...not like M'sia...all foreigner sell things...there more professional... :)

And this is very interesting display...i bought one back for my daughter room...very nice and cute indeed...

I am back from HK already....

Sorry guys for such a long time i didn't update my blog...as i told you guys earlier, i am busy with my upcoming event. MMC Race Queen search and Japan Super GT event which end yesterday. So overall i can said is was a tiring 2 week

And i just touch down in KLIA yesterday from HK. So i will give you guys a full report on what happen on HK last 4 days.

okie...let me begin with the departure date, which is:

19 June 2008.

Arrive at LCCT terminal with my wife around 5.45am, after a Euro Football match. At that time already sooooo crowded.....McD was sooooo long the queue.....

So we have Big Breakfast and board up to the AirAsia plane. Nothing much happeing up there...everyone loooks tiring, coz its the earliest flight to HK.

This is how the AirAsia plane look like from the floor. : ) Seat wasnt too bad...at least its aa Leather Seat... :P

So we reach at HKIA at 11.05am sharp (AA actually are more punctual than MAS) and out from the Arrival Hall...waiting for the so-called Tour Guide that GoHoliday promise will bring us to hotel and a half day tour, which is crap, coz no one actually come and pick us up!! You will know why later. We were waiting in the Airport for blarddy 1 hour. Walking here and there hopefully someone will turn up to pick is up. But we are wrong...coz no one come also. Luckily, HK was a very place to travel around. So we go and get a bus ticket to Mongkok, there is where we stay which only cost HKD 33 person.

This is the bus number. Take note if you guys wanna get a bus to Mongkok. Why bus? Coz much cheaper and you can have nice view of the Tsing Ma Bridge. :) Where to stop if taking this bus? Staop at Nathan Road....and you can walk to Mongkok....very near...and dont worry, policeman are everywhere, they are very happy to help you if you are lost.

So once we check in to Stanford Hotel (is a 3 Star hotel but 5 start quality and service) very convienent for tourist, if you wanna walk around Mongkok area. A lotsa stuff to eat at that area.

And very near to MTR station. Which take around 5 minute walking, maybe? (coz Hongkie people walk very fast pace, not like M'sia, take own sweet time)

We have our lunch in a CharChanTheng (coffeshop), price is not that expensive but the food is superb!! Esp. the Milk tea. :) Yummy~~

This is what the called 'Char Leong' and Beef Ball Noodle. Ohh....i luv this...very cheap and delicious too...

After our lunch, we head to Mongkok for shopping till night. We went to International finance Center to grab something and finally end our shopping and dinner there.

This is the IFC Tower. Nice tall building. Actually in HK, high building are everywhere. Its like a building jungle out there. :)

This is the View from the Tower there, they actually got a place for you to view the HK harbour.

After some sight seeing we went to Lan Kwai Fong, the famous place for beer junkie to hang out and a famous place for Hongkies to hangout, just like our Bangsar. Most of the people there i can see is 'Gwailos' (foreigner) and the price for a bottle of beer is not cheap. About HKD 150. So we finally end up just few bottle of drinks only....enough la...expensive leh..

After all the tired walking, we finally settle down in a Shanghaines Restaurant in IFC Tower for our dinner. The price is a bit on the high side, which cost about HKD 700 for 5 people eating. But the food is super good...and have to wait for 30 minutes for a table!! Crazy eh? :)

And this is the restaurant. U see the numbering in front. Yes, thats is the number that they are calling for those who wiat outside there. Just like me.... :)

And food that we order are:

'Malat' (sweet and sour soup), honey pork rib, siew long pau, fried rice, fried mee and red bean paste bun for our desert. Drink are the chinese tea and some sugar cane.

Right after the dinner, we head back to Mongkok from Central MTR Station.

And there goes my first day in Hong Kong.

Will update my second and third in HK soon. Have a good read then.....

....FINALLY....hehehe.....after few days of rest...now getting better....and getting things start.

Yesterday was a bit a hard day for me....but it's ok, time past. Once upon a time, i have heard someone told me before, if your luck is not good that day, just stay indoor, dont do so much things, IF your lick is GOOD that day....do the most things on that day. So i choose to stay indoor most of the time yesterday, and now....getting better... :)

See, dont worry if u guys are having bad day, it's normal. :)

I have just renew my passport today...not bad i can said...they are doing they very best to speed up the things, which is take me 2 hours to collect my passport. Hmm....compare to the last five years....it took 1 day...not bad not bad...

So now getting my stuff all ready for the upcoming Japan GT, which is fall on 22nd June. Getting all the girls ready for costume/uniform trying and briefing. After that....me no eyes see liow...go Hong Kong and relax....hehehe....

BTW, i have just spoke to one of my friend in HK and China, now really considering about setting a company in China to do this event management....hmm....let see how my trip to HK first. If all things goes well....will go all out in China market. And not forgeting M'sia too la... :)

How? It's everyone now in M'sia are feeling that too?? I pump full tank for my car, about RM 160 now (last time only RM 115)...crazy eh??

It have been a tiring weekend....

....and i was sick...after the MMC in PLaza Damas...having a bad sore throut and fever....damn...

Too many running around and now....was lying at home...laming the whole day...cannot even blog... :(

Just to update a bit....the MMC Japan GT Racequeen Search was good...but unexpected turnout...crowd was there...but just not that many many people things lor...u know what i mean?

And to girls that win on that day...Congratulation...You girls Rocks!!!! Hehehe....i will upload the photo once i back to office and start working, ok? (Which means tomorrow lor...)

BTW, this week going to be another busy week....doing my passport this coming Wednesday, having lunch appointment tomorrow with my family....arrangings girls for Japan GT next weekend....wow.....week by week...so many thing to do...lovely right??? :(

And tomorrow is the Malaysia Motorsport Councourse thingy in Plaza Damas.

Time really pass by so fast... and still, so many things haven't done. Now i am busy preparing the profile and call up all the girls for tomorrow attendance in the Racequeen Search. The most worried things now is the WEATHER!! Now seems like everyday 3pm already start raining. hopefully tomorrow will be clear blue skies! (Crossing my finger and toes) :)

So today i went to everywhere...people still talking about the price fuel hike. Seems like its going to hurt a lot of people pocket...chinese daily (China Press) today said...inflation rate is up 5%.

Wow...thats is crazy...thats mean now...what we make and save the bank cannot even cope up with the market....how can that be?? Die standing la!! :-(

But the solution for this....easy...work harder lor!! If inflation is up 5%, then we work extra 50% lor...right? No big deal...
